Where you live: Newark, NJ

Favorite Appetizer: Crispy Rice Spicy Tuna, specifically from Umi Sushi. The crunch-to-spice ratio is divine.

Fun fact: I learned guitar, then won third place in my high school Talent Show. I played a medley between James Bay’s “Let It Go”, Niall Horan’s “This Town,” and Sam Smith’s, “Too Good at Goodbyes”. Not too shabby!

Professional background: With my BFA in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts, I’m an administrative support who thrives at the intersection of art, organization, and people. Whether I’m designing eye-catching graphics, wrangling onboarding paperwork, or planning events with museum-level finesse, I bring a colorful mix of skills and a “let’s get it done" mindset.

Shoutout: The Newark Museum! Their exhibitions are super informative and beautifully crafted. A trip to the Ballantine House will make you afternoon because who doesn’t want to see a wonderfully preserved architectural marvel?

Currently watching: Real Housewives of Potomac. What can I say, I’m a Bravo girlie.

Why you joined RecRoom: I fell head over heels with RecRoom placing a priority on diversity, equity, and inclusion, and the commitment to local non-profits and businesses. I think at the core of sustainable community and ethical labor is uplifting our contemporaries. The world we’re working towards doesn’t happen without the help of each other.
